UnHerd CD Cover Art

Larry Hoppen, co-founder of ORLEANS (and the voice of their megahits Still the One, Dance With Me, Love Takes Time etc.) has co-produced a CD with David Sancious (veteran of Springsteen's E-Street Band, and more recently Sting's quartet). Together with Tony Levin (bass with Peter Gabriel, King Crimson etc.) and drummer Terry Silverlight, they cut 8 tunes of Larry's, plus Todd Rundgren's Pretending to Care & the Beatles' No Reply in Woodstock, NY where all but Terry live. All sales profits and 100% of Larry's publishing royalties are being donated to Sunshine For HIV Kids Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation which Larry and wife/Physician Assistant Patricia started in 1993 to help HIV-positive children and their families. The CD will be released on national and international scales as soon as possible. The CD is Larry's first release apart from Orleans in that band's 25-year history and has been met with universally enthusiastic praise (from fans, newcomers, radio and press) both for the fine pop music and the larger purpose of the project.
